What is Aquatronic?

Aquatronic is a built-in electronic monitoring software or electronic pump control. Pumps with a built-in AquaTronic unit automatically correct an incorrect phase sequence and thus ensure the correct direction of rotation of the impeller. AquaTronic also monitors the motor temperature by means of built-in NTC thermistors in the winding and stops the motor in the event of overtemperature, overload or phase failure.

When connecting a PC to the AquaTronic unit via a USB cable, the diagnostic service program can be accessed, which provides the following information about the pump: Status data, operating, fault, failure and pump service/maintenance histories as well as manual and spare parts documentation in digital format.

Main advantages of AquaTronic

  • Correction of motor rotation direction in case of incorrect phase connection
  • Run mode (no control panel required)
  • Integrated starter unit (direct or soft start depending on pump model)
  • Motor protection against overtemperature, overload and missing phase
  • Function to prevent blockages

Further features of the XJ40 Aquatronic

  • Ready to plug in: Simply connect and get started.
  • Reliable and trouble-free: The double-layered outer housing and excellent heat dissipation allow the pump to run continuously, even in slurping mode, without damaging the motor.
  • Energy-saving: The highly efficient motor and hydraulics with improved efficiency, combined with new improved low-friction bearings, reduce power losses. This results in low energy costs and minimizes CO2 emissions.
  • Level sensor: RUBAG supplies the XJ40 with a built-in level sensor as standard. This enables an energy-saving mode by automatically stopping when running dry and restarting when the water level is reached.
  • Maintenance-friendly: The pump's modular system significantly reduces the overall costs for service work. The electrical connections are easily accessible by removing the pump cover. In addition, environmentally friendly white oil is used in the oil housing to facilitate maintenance and minimize environmental impact.
