Product

Rotating (mechanical) converters from Weber MT have been proving their worth on countless construction sites for many years. The wide range covers the usual AC and three-phase connection variants. All common internal vibrators or vibrator motors with 48 V (or safety extra-low voltage < 50 V) and 200 Hz can be connected.

Advantages of the WU series mechanical converters:

  • Versatile and powerful: depending on the number of sockets and the level of current output, it is possible to operate several connection devices.
  • Lightweight and easy to transport: The WU converters are easy to transport - the WU 2.6 and 4.0 types in particular score points with an additional integrated chassis. A tubular frame protects all WU converters and serves as a practical carrying handle.
  • Integrated accessories: 3 m connection cable with plug are included in the scope of delivery, as is the motor protection switch to prevent overloading.

Important instructions for use

  1. The converter output voltage (volts) must always match the voltage of the vibrating needle (volts).
  2. The current consumption (amperes) of one or more vibrating needles must not be greater than the current output of the converter (amperes).
  3. The number of vibrating needles to be connected to a converter is limited by the number of sockets available.
Connection of the respective types
  • WU 1.8: Connection to 230 V / 50 Hz alternating current
  • WU 2.6: Connection to 400 V / 50 Hz three-phase current
  • WU 4.0: Connection to 400 V / 50 Hz three-phase current
