The SB (Solid Body) hydraulic hammers from Epiroc are extremely robust, durable and easy to handle and maintain. This makes these breakers ideal as an attachment for any excavator.
What makes the solid body concept so special?
This patented design integrates the impact mechanism and guide system into a single block, eliminating the most maintenance-prone components of conventional demolition hammers and significantly increasing the service life of the hydraulic hammer.
-
Compact design: Epiroc SB breakers are slimmer and more compact than conventional hydraulic hammers of the same size. This provides a better view of the working area and makes handling easier, especially in confined spaces, e.g. in buildings, on walls or in trenches.
-
Less weight: The lower weight of the SB breakers allows them to be used on smaller excavators.
-
Less maintenance: With fewer individual components than traditional hydraulic hammers, SB hammers require less maintenance and are more reliable.
Further advantages of Epiroc SB hydraulic hammers
-
Energy recovery: State-of-the-art technology automatically uses the recoil energy of the piston to increase performance without additional hydraulic energy. This reduces vibrations, increases productivity and reduces fuel consumption.
-
Protection against overload: An integrated pressure relief valve ensures reliable overload protection.
-
Floating tool bush: Can be replaced on site and quickly changed with a simple tool.
-
Very user-friendly: SB series hydraulic hammers are easy to commission and maintain. Thanks to the patented tool locking system, changing the insertion tool is also extremely easy.
