From a storage quantity of 25 l / kg, chemicals in Switzerland must be stored in special chemical cabinets or hazardous goods containers.
Distinction between active and passive storage
A distinction is made between active and passive storage of hazardous substances.
Our environmental protection container type ULCK fulfills all legal requirements for passive storage. For passive storage, only new, unopened and therefore full containers may be in the container and the following legal requirements must also be met:
- The cabinet or container must be non-combustible or only barely combustible.
- It must be lockable.
- Have adequate ventilation.
- Be equipped with a collection system, whereby the collection volume must be at least equal to the volume of the largest stored container, depending on the stored substance.
Are you interested in a container for the active storage of chemicals? Then we recommend our Safe Tank.
Our RUBAG hazardous material containers ULCK include
- Robust steel container
- Collection pan with galvanized grating to catch potentially leaking hazardous liquids
- 2 ventilation grilles to allow hazardous vapors to escape and ensure sufficient air circulation in the storage room
- Double doors with locking bars and anti-burglary device
- Forklift bags and crane eyes: The hazardous material container can be hung fully loaded on the crane or handled with a stacker.
Add practical interior decoration to your environmental container as required.
Optional interior decoration
- Shelves, tool holders, hose holders, etc.
Whether you design the container yourself or would like to use our recommended additional package - we are on hand to advise you on putting together the ideal storage container for your hazardous goods.
