Special features of the YANMAR ViO23-6 mini excavator

Zero tail design

All Yanmar ViO models are true zero tail excavators, with neither the counterweight nor the front of the upper frame protruding beyond the track width. This allows for an extremely small swing radius and minimizes the blind spot at the rear, increasing safety for the operator and people nearby.

Adjustable undercarriage

The excavator undercarriage can be retracted to just 1,380 mm, allowing access to narrow areas. When extended, it measures 1,500 mm. In conjunction with the balanced weight distribution, the mini-excavator gains enormous stability and also boasts a particularly high digging and lifting capacity. The small distance between the sliding parts ensures that no soil accumulates when the undercarriage is extended. The folding blade extensions are permanently attached and therefore cannot be lost.

Easy to transporter

When the extremely compact undercarriage is retracted, the ViO23-6 mini excavator can be easily transported on a 3.5-ton trailer. Even with attachments, the total weight is less than 3,500 kg.

• Control and steering: Sensitive chassis actuation via hand lever or foot pedals. Knickmatik® (parallel lateral offset).
